After applying makeup on your face, apply a powder puff or a flat brush. If you are using a brush (flat, about 5-6cm wide), blend it from forehead to chin in one direction. Not back and forth. This turns the small hair you have on your face in the opposite direction, and the powder and makeup do not hold well. Also, artificial hair brushes are not very suitable for powdering the skin. The powder puff is used for daily powdering. To avoid using too much powder, wipe the puff, never tap, on the back of your hand.

Do not apply powder immediately after cream and make-up application, wait a bit for the cream or make-up to absorb. Then apply a little powder to the brush, lightly shake it against the edge of your hand and spread it over your face and neck. Always proceed from top to bottom, in the direction of hair growth. Then wait again for a while and run a clean brush over all the powdered areas once again, sweeping away excess particles and, thus, never leaving behind unsightly deposits.

It is also better to apply less powder several times than too much at once. If you are unable to use brush, or if you have oily skin, then copy professionals who use a cotton swab to blend the powder into skin. First, you tap the coton into the jar with powder and let the powder be absorbed, second, you blend the powder from forehead to chin. Make sure you use a new cotton swab each time.

Wet sponge is the best method of application. It does require a bit of work, it is the slowest method, but the skin looks natural. Wrap the sponge around your finger like a powder puff, scoop up powder and tap perpendicularly to the skin. First, the skin is a little blotchy. Don't give up and tap until everything clings to your skin. This is the best and longest lasting way. However, it is only used for outdoor photography or make-up.

Warning: Wash the brushes and puffs that that are used regularly with a gentle shampoo at least once a week. Rinse them thoroughly with lukewarm water, shake over the towel and let it dry freely.

Luxurious brands such as Lovinah and Terre Verdi are packaged in glass, and contain liquid contents. If anything happens to them, most couriers will not pay insurance because of this. We cannot take that risk as the products are expensive, which is why we must choose the courier that promises to reimburse us in case of accident, loss or theft. Having said, the courier is still cheaper than using the Czech Post Office service without tracking.

We cooperate with a private courier company in Czechia, Packeta, that uses GLS, DPD, UPS and other companies to safely and quickly deliver your precious packages. The delivery to most countries takes between 3-5 working days, but longer distances take longer time to deliver, of course.

ECOLOGICAL AND ZERO WASTE PACKAGING

Within Czechia and Slovakia we pack in ecological boxes filled with wooden wool. This packaging is both aesthetically pleasing and zero waste, but also more expensive than recycled/ reused boxes and traditional filling materials. However, when sending to other foreign countires we must add additional security and we were told the wooden wool may not be sufficient protection. We may need to individually wrap glass products or liquid products in bubblewrap or use plastic 'pillows' filled with air to avoid potential breakage during handling and transit. Once the courier has the package, what happens with it is out of our hands, which is why the complete zero waste packaging is not always possible. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Our online store is not a massive online ecommerce store, it is more of an online boutique with a select brands and products we believe in, and which may not be available everywhere. Producers usually make the products for us, fresh to order, and we focus on less known, but certified organic or 100% natural and very unique, brands with distinguished formulations. Hence, we cannot offer FREE shipping on orders of 50 or 100EUR.
