Primers

Good looking and long lasting makeup is based on primer and foundation. Primer is a preparatory product that's applied after your skincare to create an ideal canvas to hold onto whatever makeup comes afterward — be it foundation, tinted moisturiser or concealer. The primer may be in the form of a facial serum enriched with hyaluronic acid to increase hydration, or a sunscreen that protects the skin and minimizes visibility of the pores. The latest primers can smooth the skin, fix makeup and reduce pores to near invisibility. They can also brighten the face, fade fine lines and wrinkles, target acne and moisturise. Some primers can even give skin a temporary face-lift, all without feeling heavy.
