Jane Scrivner's Skinfoliate AHA/BHA Renewing Peel is step #2 in your daily skincare routine. It contains a combination of natural AHAs and BHAs in a ratio that achieves multi-step exfoliation, yet the scrub is gentle enough for everyday use. By combining these two types of acids, this natural chemical peel works on multiple levels - the AHAs work more on the surface, while the BHAs work more deeply.

The unique blend of malic, glycolic, lactic, salicylic and citric acids work on multiple levels to exfoliate and stimulate the skin in a really effective yet gentle way. The peel thus actively softens and smooths the skin and promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin without disturbing the protective skin film. The peel also improves the absorption of the products you apply after using it.

How does the peel work? Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) dissolve the 'glue' that holds dead skin cells to the skin's surface, stimulating collagen and cell turnover. Skin is left beautifully smooth and clean. Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) then penetrate deeper, clearing clogged pores, helping to regulate excessive sebum production and relieve any acne.

The peel won gold in the Beauty Shortlist competition in 2018 and 2019.

What's inside

Lactic Acid (AHA) - from corn. Works to dissolve the "glue" between cells on the skin's surface, gently exfoliating the skin and keeping it soft and smooth. With daily use, lactic acid can stimulate the exchange of new skin cells.

GLYCOLIC ACID (AHA) - from sugar cane, maple, burdock and pineapple. It works deeper below the skin's surface to activate the skin's natural regenerative function - stimulating cell turnover, counteracting uneven skin tone, and balancing and strengthening skin texture.

CITRONIC ACID (AHA) - from lemons. Reduces sun damage and stimulates collagen production.

APPLE ACID (AHA) - from apple cider vinegar and blueberries. Gently removes dead skin cells. It also helps increase skin elasticity and brightens the skin.

SALICYL ACID (BHA) - from white willow. Actively reduces the appearance of acne.

Start using once or twice a week and gradually work your way up to daily use depending on your skin's reaction. Apply in the evening after cleansing and before applying any skin care product - hyaluron, facial oil, mask, etc.

Apply a few drops of the product on a cotton pad or on the palms of your hands. Gently wipe the face or apply with fingers. Wait a few moments, then apply step 3 to moisturize after exfoliation.

On days of high sun activity (spring-summer), it is necessary to use a product with a high UV factor during the day. It is not recommended to use over summer and before planned holidays in warm regions. Skin may become more sensitive to UV rays after use.
