HIRO Cosmetics mascara in deep black colour is made from 85% certified organic ingredients such as chamomile extract, coffee seeds, sunflower oil, vanilla and more. In addition to being 100% natural and vegan, it is also gluten-free.

Key ingredients in this mascara include water, corn starch, chamomile extract, coffee seed oil, rice powder and sunflower oil. Corn starch is a very interesting plant ingredient that has good adhesion and is almost translucent. It has good absorbency properties, mattifies well and together with arrowroot starch they are the latest plant replacements for the less popular talc.

Chamomile and coffee extracts stimulate the healthy eyelash growth. Rice powder is obtained by grinding rice grains to a fine powder. It is soothing and gives the lashes a protective film. It is transparent, medium absorbent, but leaves a matte look complete with a silky feel. It is a great talc replacement and can be used alone for mattifiying effect.

Sunflower oil nourishes and leaves eyelashes soft and supple. It has excellent regenerative properties, mainly due to the high content of vitamin E, minerals and omega-6 fatty acids.

The extracts of goldenseal, oregano, thyme and lavender are added to protect and heal eyelashes because of their astringent and antiseptic properties.
