You will find only natural ingredients in the composition of these unique hair mists: 100% natural perfume with ECOCERT certification, aloe vera extract, water and denatured alcohol.

Aloe barbadensis leaf extract is combined with the controversial ingredient propylene glycol because they react well together to form the active aloe vera hydroglycol extract. This is a popular way to effectively extract plant extracts from a plant. Aloe vera is used as an active ingredient to moisturize and refresh hair. It is a plant valued for its medicinal and cosmetic use, and its use dates back to the 4th century BC - historians claim that it was once part of the cosmetic routines of the Egyptian royal family. Most perfumes contain at least 80% alcohol. La Brûmée's hair mists contain only 40% of alcohol, which makes their scent very delicate and unobtrusive.

Note from Gratia Natura: Propylene glycol can be an allergen for sensitive skin and I have no place for it in skin care. I made an exception here because the hair mist is only sprayed onto the hair and does not come into contact with the skin. Read an article about this ingredient from byrdie.com, which convinced me that I could include La Brumee as a brand in my shop, even though it uses propylene glycol. Hair perfumes and perfumes in general are a difficult compromise in non-toxic skin and body care, and will not make everyone happy. In this case, I decided that using propylene glycol was a lesser evil, because La Brumee contains nothing else that would meet my disapproval.

Water is the source of all life, La Brumee mists are based mostly on water - just like your body. Because of this, their fragrances leave a more subtle scent, but are kinder and less harsh than regular perfumes.

Denatured Alcohol. Basis of every perfume, alcohol is the solvent that allows the perfume to be distributed evenly throughout the brume. Most perfumes contain 80% alcohol; our brumes contain only 40% for a more gentle scent, that respects the hair.
