Derived from the fermentation of the probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium longum and pure resin from the Croton lechleri tree, along with fermented rooibos tea, peptides, vitamins, amino acids, and natural antioxidants, this all-powerful cocktail of bacterial lysate addresses breakouts, bumps, and skin redness, and keeps your skin looking its best.

Dragon's Blood - This is a resin from the bark of the Croton Lechleri tree, which grows at high altitudes in the Andes (South America). It owes its name Dragon's Blood or Sangre de drago to the colour of its smooth bark, red-grey with white spots, which when cut, oozes a dark red resin. This resin has been used since time immemorial as a natural medicine among the indigenous people of the Amazon.

Of the many different substances that dragon's blood contains, the most important is taspine, an alkaloid with healing, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that have a positive effect on the regeneration of damaged skin, whether due to injury or acne. It also helps with burns, tibial ulcers and other inflammatory diseases. Once applied to the skin, the resin dries quickly and forms a unique barrier that fits the skin like a glove.

In folk medicine, the resin is used directly on an open wound to stop bleeding and prevent infection. This protective barrier helps to repair the skin and prevent further damage precisely because of its antibacterial, antiviral and antioxidant properties - dragon's blood is directly packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals that damage the skin and cause premature aging.

• SNAP-8 peptide (ACETYL OCTAPEPTIDE-3) - it is an extended form of Argireline hexapeptide, which at one time caused a storm in the cosmetic industry. It is 30 times more effective than Argireline peptide, reducing the intensity of contraction of the facial muscles and thus the formation of wrinkles.

In the concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the jellywort has always been regarded as a mushroom having significant benefits on human skin. The polysaccharide contained in dewweed has an incredible ability to retain water. The capacity of the sponge to retain water equivalent to 500 times the amount, which is more than what hyaluronic acid and glycerin can do.

Rooibos - tea native to South Africa contains 50% more antioxidants than green tea. It has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and soothing properties and contains AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) and zinc, which are very important nutrients for healthy and glowing skin. Natural AHA Alpha acid from rooibos tea will help the skin and gently exfoliate dead skin cells, while zinc is a great defense against acne due to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Undecylenoyl phenylalanine - one of the two ingredients contained in this product, whose job is to lighten the skin naturally. It is an organic compound with strong lightening effects without the negative properties of hydroquinone. It has been identified in several scientific and dermatological tests as very effective, safe and fast in lightening dark spots/ hyperpigmentation.

Nymphaea alba (white water lily extract) - the other powerful ingredient for skin lightening is this extract, which is also suitable for sensitive individuals. It soothes the skin and reduces hyperpigmentation to induce a clear smooth skin tone.

Ritual

• Squeeze the pump 1-2 times into a clean palm and gently massage the serum into the skin, taking care around the eyes.

Apply this serum and follow with either one of the aforementioned moisturizers again, or Organic Essence's night balm containing blue azulene from true chamomile extract, and lavender.
